Dear Beloved FCC Family,
Thanks to everyone who made it out last Sunday in the snow and cold to make it a wonderful Hope Sunday.  Despite the frigid temperatures, FCC showed off warm and generous hearts signing up 60 child monthly sponsorships in the Congo, Africa!  From the bottom of our heart, thank you for your great response to truly “Do Something” to end extreme poverty, to bless abundantly our local MOMS program bake sale, and support FCC missions throughout the globe with the Missions Art Fair.  Sixty sponsorships last Sunday despite the extreme cold, was a tremendous start in trying to reach our goal of 75-100 sponsorships from Faith Covenant.  There’s still a chance to sign up for sponsorships in the lobby over the next few weeks, and you can go online right now and “Do Something” to share in God’s heart for the poorest of the poor.  If you sign up online, please let us know that you did so we can keep track of our numbers (jsorensen@faithcovenant.org).  Here’s the Link to Covenant Kids Congo, and please check out below everything else happening soon at FCC:

WHAT IS HAPPENING AT FAITH…
Christmas Eve Services: 4:30pm, 8pm, 9:30pm
Compelling stories change us. Once upon a time, people gathered around the radio to hear the best stories. They tuned into the stories that seemed to transform them. This Christmas Eve we will gather in the Worship Center at Faith Covenant to tune into the story that truly transforms. Plan to attend at either 4:30 or 8:00pm because you’re invited to a Christmas Eve Service you won’t forget. Come consider the best story—the one about a God who loved the characters He created so very much. It’s a story about a God who decided to write Himself into the human story—to play the critical part none of us could. There will be a short message, we’ll sing Silent Night by candle-light—it will speak to the whole family! * If you are unable to make one of our two On-Air Christmas Services times you are invited to worship in a simple candlelight service at 9:30 in FCC’s Legacy Chapel (room 200).
Spiritual Gifts Workshop
Faith is hosting a great seminar on spiritual gifts on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 9:00 – 11:30am, and you are invited to attend .
