Life’s A Garden, Dig It?
Posted on Oct 15, 2014 in Faith Updates
Life is a garden, dig it? (I am sorry for that terrible pun. I couldn’t help myself.) This last Sunday we took a look at the relationships in our lives as a garden. Sometimes we can have bad things happen to us, but God can use that as fertilizer to grow us in our faith and help renew our relationships with others.
Sometimes in the moment of when hard things are happening to us, it is hard to believe that God could use it and turn it into good. But don’t just take our word for it, look and see what God’s word has to say about it. Check out Roman 8:28 –
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (NLT) The bible is full of stories of God redeeming situations in people’s lives and speaking truth into our life about the redemption we need.
God is the KING of taking the bad and turning into something good. The question is, are we open to that? Does our attitude about the bad situations hinder or help God in the process of redeeming situations?
Don’t take my word for it. You should check it out. In fact we have made it easy for you by providing you with a Bible Journaling bookmark. You can check it out here and study along with us.
See you Sunday,
