Adult Ministries / Small Groups

Equip Classes

One of the key roles a local church plays is to

“equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” Ephesians 4:11-13

Spending time studying God’s word and wrestling with current issues and cultural shifts are important to our personal growth and our ability to love and serve our neighbors, the world around us. Equip classes are offered on Sunday mornings during our Education Hour at 9am.  Contact Pastor Char at crotvold@faithcovenant.org  for more information.btn-equip

Small Groups

Small groups are the best way to grow and to connect with people in our faith community. That is why we typically launch new small groups twice a year (in the spring and fall). These small groups range in variety and can last from 4 weeks to 6 months depending on the group. If you are new to faith, contact Pastor Char at crotvold@faithcovenant.org to connect with a group.

Twenties and Thirties Group

Faith Twenties and Thirties exists to serve the young adults of Faith Covenant Church. Whether you are a recent high school or college graduate, just starting in your career, single, married, or starting your family, we are here for you! We gather monthly to connect through social events, to grow in our faith journey through prayer and Bible study, and to go serve our community through various service opportunities. Contact Ryan Nyquist at rnyquist@faithcovenant.org for more information or to connect with this group!

Men

There are a variety of opportunities for the men at Faith to connect for fellowship, prayer, and the study of God’s word. The Wednesday Night Fellowship Group meets during the school year and studies different subjects approximately every 6 weeks. They also go on occasional “field trips” or offer casual group events. There are also weekly small groups that meet on Monday or Tuesday evenings, or on Saturday mornings. Other conference-wide fellowship opportunities and occasional men’s retreats/events also happen. Contact Pastor Brad at bkindall@faithcovenant.org  for more information or to be given the appropriate contact info for the group you wish to join/check out.

Women

Faith has a long history of vibrant women’s ministries that continues today. Weekly Bible studies, women’s small groups, retreats, conferences, and occasional gatherings to share a meal, fellowship with other women, hear from a speaker, and laugh together are gatherings we look forward to throughout the year. Contact Pastor Char at crotvold@faithcovenant.org for more information.

Women’s Ministry Events

Seniors

We are blessed to be a 50+ year-old church with a number of founding members in attendance! We value those generations who have paved the way and appreciate opportunities to learn from them. We acknowledge the need of our older generations to gather together to share memories, worship, and study God’s word, and we also believe that the best is yet to be, that God has new things for us in every season of life! Ministry for Seniors at Faith includes rethinking retirement, looking for God’s “next” in our lives, and challenging us to grandparent intentionally. Sunday equip classes centering around Bible study and prayer; regular lunch or brunch groups; our Hannah Circle small group; and our Saturday morning Men of Faith group are great opportunities for our seniors to connect! Contact Pastor Char at crotvold@faithcovenant.org for more information.
