…Thy Will be Done
Last night, approximately 50 people gathered to pray for our church… for more of God’s presence, more of His voice, and more people from FCC to be listening for and actively seeking God’s will. It was a sweet time of worship. 🙂 Be encouraged friends! God lives in the lives of His followers, and when we gather together as members of His body, collectively we hear better and see more clearly.
This Sunday is Vision Sunday, when we begin gathering together as one body at 10am weekly. Plan to join us for a time of worship, prayer, and practical conversations about who we are, what defines us, and where we’re heading in the future. We are seeking God first and foremost, committed to being followers of Christ and partnering with God in the work He’s doing in our community(ies).
See you Sunday morning!
Here’s what’s happening at Faith
All Church Missions Donation Drive
We are holding a Donation Drive on Saturday, July 11 from 10am-4pm in Faith’s parking lot. Please take this opportunity to donate things you are no longer using to those who are in need in our area, and to support one of Faith’s missions programs! Bring your items to the upstairs church parking lot, where they will be unloaded for you directly onto a Goodwill truck. The M.O.M.S. Program will receive the proceeds from this drive, based on the amount of items donated. Let’s bless them and fill the truck!
Interim Student Ministries Director
We are happy to announce that Tommy Case will be joining our staff at Faith Covenant as Interim Director of Student Ministries! Some of our families will remember Tommy as an intern with Student Ministries last summer, where he developed many relationships with students and the staff here at Faith. Tommy is finishing his undergrad degree in Biblical and Theological Studies at Crown College this year. He and his soon-to-be wife, Laura, will start at Faith on August 1. Please welcome them!
This Sunday, as we gather as a church family at our single Summer Service, we ask that you please wear a name tag. They will be in the lobby at the high top tables, or in the back of the worship center by the sound booth. Also, all voting members of Faith are asked to enter the worship center through the center doors, so you can sign in and receive your ballot before the start of service.
Finding Fruit VBS
VBS will be onsite at Faith Covenant and we will be partnering with a team from Covenant Pines Bible Camp. VBS is scheduled for the week of August 10-13 from 8:45am-3pm for grades 1-6. The VBS theme is Finding Fruit and is based off of Galatians 5:22-23. The cost for VBS will be $8/child/day. Kids can attend any or all of the 4 days. Register online at faithcovenant.org. We do still need volunteers to make VBS happen. If interested in volunteering, please contact Lynn at email@example.com or Dan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
