Transform – Because Love Changes Us

Posted on Sep 7, 2017 in Faith Updates

Happy fall kick-off, Faith Covenant Church!

As I look out my office window I see change. There are leaves on the ground that weren’t there before. There are autumn colors in the trees turning our hearts away from summer and toward God’s next season for us. The changing of the seasons I believe is an expression of God’s love. His love changes the seasons and His love changes our hearts. Every change He brings is a gift of His love.

This Sunday at Faith we will be launching a new season of messages: Transform—because love changes us. In it we will head into our new season of ministry focusing on God’s vision for Faith Covenant Church.

Here’s a sneak peak into where we’re headed over the next five weeks:

A Transformed Church: Loving
A Transformed Church: Growing
A Transformed Church: Praying
A Transformed Church: Going
A Transformed Church: Welcoming (Congregational meeting after the service)

Each of these messages will be a product of a lot of work behind the scenes helping create practical strategies to fulfill our calling to be a family of grace who makes disciples of Jesus. In them you will see the seeds that will help us Gather, Grow, and Go for the glory of our King and the sake of His good news.

I pray you will make this series an extra special priority for your Sundays. If you can’t be with us, please make a point to listen to the messages online.

See you Sunday!
Pastor Brad
