Faith Covenant Church

Unspoken

Posted on Jul 24, 2014 in Faith Updates

It’s a hot one. That’s for sure. Hope you all have been staying hydrated with this weather. Do you know what John Bennett has been doing in this weather? Cutting down trees. He is taking out ash trees to get ready for paving our new parking lot. He brought a crew of the Bennett’s along with him. If you see him Sunday say a big thanks.

Speaking of thanks, there are a lot of you around this church that make this place feel a little more special. We have many volunteers in many different areas. I would like to say a big thanks to all of you who make this church a better place. I know we don’t say it enough, but we appreciate you all.

Sometimes there are words that go unsaid like our “thank you’s”. Sometimes our unspoken words are an inner dialogue that can be good or bad. This week we are going to be looking into our unspoken words and what God has to say about our thoughts. It is going to be a great Sunday. Hope to see you there!

See you Sunday,

Jon Oney

Responsible Church Makeover

Phase I of the Responsible Church Makeover is scheduled to begin the week of September 15. The financial need for this phase is $300,000. We have currently received contributions of $36,678. We have far to go and invite and request your participation in this needed property improvement which will benefit all of us who call Faith Covenant Church home. Will you consider how your family may be able to give at one of these levels of support?

-100 families with a gift of $1,000

-50 families with a gift of $2,000

-20 families with a gift of $5,000

It remains our goal to complete this project and the other major facility repairs without borrowing money. Thank you for your sacrificial and generous giving. Click HERE to give.
