KIDS Ministry

We are excited to announce that full ministry for birth-5th grade is now available! Take a look at the following age groupings for Sundays and the details that go with each one:

Nursery (0-2yrs): opens 10 minutes before the start of the worship service

Preschool (3-5 yrs): opens 10 minutes before the start of the worship service

Early Elementary (K-2nd grade): begin in worship with their families, then just before the sermon, kids are invited to join FaithKids volunteers for their own Bible story and peer engagement

Late Elementary (3rd-5th grade): begin in worship with their families, then just before the sermon, kids are invited to join FaithKids volunteers for their own Bible story and peer engagement

All families whose children are participating in in-person ministry on Sunday morning should check in at the FaithKids desk in the foyer before the service starts. At this point, we are still requiring face coverings for elementary aged children and recommending face coverings for preschool aged children, in compliance with guidance for children who have not been vaccinated. FaithKids volunteers will also be wearing face coverings while involved in ministry with children.

Communion Weekends: because we value the presence of children in our midst, believing that they are part of our shared story as followers of Jesus, we have begun the tradition at Faith Covenant of including children of all ages in worship on Communion Sundays. There is no separate ministry offered for children on these days. Please make every effort to bring your whole family to worship so that they grow in their faith with a sense of belonging and so the broader congregation can engage its promise to raise the next generations to know and love Jesus!
