A Faith-Filled Response

Dear Faith Covenant Family,

We in leadership at Faith Covenant Church have been prayerfully pondering how to best be part of the solution rather than part of the problem when it comes to COVID-19. These are unique circumstances in our world, and they call for unique, faith-filled solutions. This being the case, we have decided to suspend all campus-based ministry gatherings starting this Sunday, March 15. This includes Sunday morning worship services, midweek ministries, groups, and education.

Please know these actions are being taken out of love and a desire to protect the most vulnerable among us. We desire to be part of the proactive solution rather than a reactive compromise. Healthy actions now will best expedite a healthy end to the coronavirus spread.

What does this mean for us practically?

  • Good news! We will be creating an online worship experience through our website–first with audio then transferring to a video format. Stay tuned.
  • Communication will actually increase rather than decrease, so please continue to pay attention to all Faith Covenant updates from our website, email, and social media.
  • Faith staff will still be hard at work, but doing so remotely. During this time feel free to call, email, FaceTime, Skype, or leave voice-mails for Faith staff (952.890.3110). Pastoral care needs will be addressed on a case by case basis.

Please note: Faithful financial giving will be vital to keep our ministry healthy during this time. It would be especially helpful if each of us would take a step of faith and sign up for scheduled monthly online giving. You can do so by clicking here. Mailed in payments can also be sent to this address:

Faith, what sends the rest of the world into panic-mode, should send the Church into prayer-mode. These unique times are a great opportunity to see the handiwork of God displayed through His people. As we seek to make disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus, the Bible tells us trials and tribulations are an opportunity for great growth! James calls us even to…

“Consider it pure joy…whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance…so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4

This means God’s going to grow us during this time! I so look forward to the future when we will retell the stories of the way God led Faith Covenant to a deeper faith in the spring of 2020.

In Faith,

Pastor Brad
