Brad Kindall|Lead Pastorbkindall@faithcovenant.org
Brad began his ministry as Lead Pastor at FCC in February 2016. He brings to the Faith family almost three decades of full-time ministry experience, a background in the performing arts, and seminary training from Bethel Theological Seminary. Brad is passionate about helping people and the local church find their identity in Christ. His favorite phrase: “When we know who we are, we know what to do”. Brad loves cycling, hiking, coffee and ice cream. Together Brad and his wife, Jill, have 6 children.

Char holds B.A. degrees in Psychology and Religion, a Masters in Counseling, and has studied at North Park Theological and Fuller Seminary. Char and her husband Kirk are the proud parents of Kyle and Erika. Char is passionate about sharing God’s personal love and tireless pursuit of His creation. His steady presence throughout each season of life amazes her. In her free time Char enjoys hanging out with her family, running, cross country skiing, playing with her puppy, and reading.
Sara Sosa|Family Ministries Pastorssosa@faithcovenant.org
Sara Sosa has been involved in ministry for kids, teens, and their families for over 29 years. She holds ministry degrees from North Park Seminary (MA in Children, Youth & Family) and Bethel Seminary (DMin in Church Leadership). Sara loves helping kids and families embrace the truth of who they are in Christ and learn to share that with the world fearlessly. Sara has two adult children, Emma and Matteo. Living life with her family is an incredible gift that brings focus to her ministry. Sara loves creating and developing new ideas, storytelling in all its forms, and living in a state that beautifully displays all four seasons!

Rick is focused on the comfort, safety, and security of our facility and grounds. He brings to this position a varied background of skills that touch several areas of facilities and systems management. He enjoys spending time with his family, home remodeling projects, and barbecuing.
Noah Newbauer|Communications Directornnewbauer@faithcovenant.org
Noah Newbauer has a strong background in Visual Media ranging from Video Production to Web Design. First graduating from Hennepin Technical College with an AAS in Video Production, Noah Later received his BA in Communication Arts: Media Communication from North Central University. Noah brings over five years of communication experience to help bring about the church’s Vision through engaging and creative ways. He enjoys doing each task in a unique and fun way while simultaneously acknowledging how God guides his steps.
Kavan Rogness|Discipleship Directorkrogness@faithcovenant.org
Kavan comes to Faith after several years here in volunteer capacities. Kavan holds a B.A. degree in Communication Studies and History from Gustavus Adolphus College, an M.A. degree in Communication Studies from Kansas State University, and an M. Div. degree from Bethel Seminary. He seeks to help people understand themselves and their place in God’s kingdom while fostering vulnerability and openness. Now that Kavan is no longer in school, he enjoys reading, writing, doing anything with Team World Vision (mostly running), and discussing TV/movies with friends. Kavan loves spending time with his nine nieces and nephews before going home for a good night’s sleep.

Kon graduated from North Central University in 2021 with a BS in Pastoral Musicianship. He and his wife Tori live in Minneapolis with their dog Miley, and they love taking walks, boating, and exploring new places. Kon is originally from Nisswa, Minnesota, a place where he and Tori love to visit. Kon enjoys playing any instrument that he can get his hands on and has a passion for learning new skills.

Davey brings 12 years in Young Adult & Youth ministry. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from Cal State San Bernardino and a Master’s of Ministry degree from Bethel Seminary. Davey recently helped launch a Youth for Christ ministry in White Bear Lake. Davey has been married to his wife, Laura, for 15 years. They have two girls, Kaylee (11) and Addy (7). He loves reaching teenagers for Jesus & equipping them to live out their faith. Davey loves the L.A. Clippers, watching Star Wars, and Kayaking in the summer.

Terry supports the adult ministries here at Faith Covenant. She brings many years of administrative experience to this position. Terry enjoys getting to know our Faith members through her various contacts with them. Terry and her husband Jim enjoy volunteering at Covenant Pines Bible Camp and cheering on the Minnesota United soccer team. They have 3 adult children and 1 granddaughter.

Shelly began serving in the area of Children’s and Family Ministry in 1992 as a preschool team lead and loved it. She brings experience as a teacher, mentor, and coordinator and has served in various roles at Faith since 2011. She has a BA in Elementary Education and further study in Early Childhood Education. Shelly and her husband, Adam, have 5 children and one grandson. Her family enjoys sharing books and movies, family dinners, and hiking. Shelly is passionate about helping children and youth grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus, and to know and love God more each day.

My faith journey started with my upbringing in the Episcopal Church in Honolulu, where I was born and raised. I went to school in Oregon, married Janet, and have two children and four grandkids. I also have two children and three grandchildren from a previous marriage, and we all work on staying connected as we all live in different states. We moved to Burnsville in 2006 and started attending Faith Covenant 11 years ago. I have served on the Council for the last five years and look forward to continuing to support the Faith Covenant family.

My husband, Bill, and 24-year-old son Andrew moved to Burnsville from Baltimore, Maryland, in 1996 and have attended Faith Covenant Church for 25 years (I grew up in Des Moines, IA, and Bill is a Baltimore native). I was a college administrator for many years and currently work for a youth development nonprofit. I’m blessed to volunteer in FCC’s children’s ministry and am a mentor in the M.O.M.S. (Making Our Moms Successful) program for single mothers housed at our church. This year is my fourth year on Council and I’m excited to be part of Faith Covenant’s next chapter!

Josh is currently the longest-running church council member, serving his 6th and final year as the church financial secretary. Josh is married to Miranda, and together they have three beautiful young daughters, ages 8, 6, and 1. He is currently employed at Cameron’s Coffee in Shakopee, serving as CFO. Josh is a lifelong Covenanter, growing up as a Pastor’s Kid at Trinity Covenant Church in Crystal, MN, and at Community Covenant Church in Lenexa, KA. Josh attended North Park University, graduating with a degree in Finance. Josh and Miranda found Faith Covenant in 2013 and were quickly drawn to the friendliness of the congregation.

My wife, Gina, and I have been attending Faith Covenant Church for over 15 years now with our two children, Drew and Aria. Over the years, we have served in several capacities in the children’s and youth ministries, as deacons, on search committees, etc. In our time here at Faith Covenant Church, we have seen a lot of changes, but I can honestly say that I am excited to see what God has in store for us as a church body. These last several years have been hard for everyone. Still, I’m very proud of how this body of believers has stayed faithful to God’s calling to serve our community here in Burnsville (and the surrounding areas) nationally and internationally.

My name is Bill Glover. My wife (Cindy) and I have lived in Burnsville since 1987. We have been members of
Faith since about 1999. I’m retired but work part-time at a grocery store in Eagan. Here at
Faith, I serve as an usher, was a Deacon, was a regular volunteer for the Monday night Outreach Food program, assisted with Operation Christmas Child, and hosted a small group bible study in

Christian is a husband and father of two and is serving his second term on the council. He also leads the property committee to ensure the church property is maintained and improved. He is an electrician by day and spends most of his free time with his lovely family.

Cindy has been a member of Faith Covenant since 2002. She holds a BA degree in Human Services and Business Administration. She currently serves as a Fiscal Service Coordinator for people with disabilities. Together Cindy and her husband, Dick, have three adult children and one who has passed. She values family, close friends, bible study, and learning the character of Jesus.

My wife, Debbie, and I have been members at Faith Covenant Church since 2013, but I’ve known about Faith most of my life. I grew up in this area and went to Gideon Pond elementary school. We are both Minnesota natives. We love dogs, hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family as often as possible. Debbie and I came to Faith looking for a place where we felt we belonged. We found it! We also found a place where we can follow our spiritual paths and be a part of serving our community. We’re happy to be here!

Mark grew up attending Faith and accepted Jesus as a kid at covenant pines Bible camp. By day, Mark is a civil engineer, but at night and on weekends, he’s a husband to Mackenzie and a father of four. Mark loves to play any and all board games and travels with his family. He is currently serving his 6th year on the council.
