At Faith Covenant, we value having our kids in worship with their families, and we also value giving kids time with their peers as they learn about Jesus!
In light of that, Faith Kids Sundays are pleased to offer:
* Early Childhood rooms (Birth-2s, PreK 3+) are staffed every week during the service
* K-3rd graders (Pathfinders) begin their worship experience in the service and are invited to Faith Kids programming during the service with our awesome volunteers.
* 4th & 5th graders (Club 45) are growing from kid to tween, so we consider these transitional years in kids ministry as well. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, they begin their worship experience in the service and are invited to Faith Kids Club 45 programming during the service. The other Sundays of the month, they are participating in the service. This allows them to make connections with peers and the full Faith family.
* Developmental/special needs: If your child has a specific need to fit their developmental needs, please talk to Vicki Newendorp, our Interim Children’s Director, about how we can best support your child.
Kids are ALWAYS welcome in our service. For kids that need some helps during the service: fidgets, noice cancelling headphones, and kids in worship bags are available to borrow near the Faith Kids Wing.
Holiday/Special Service Sundays: On these Sundays, early childhood rooms are staffed and all other kids are in the service the whole time.
Curious about what happens during our Faith Kids Sundays?
Faith begins with wonder. Ink is God’s truth inked upon our hearts. Our Faith Kids Sundays are using Wonder Ink curriculum to spark curiosity and wonder as we take kids on a journey of faith formation. Each year, kids will dive into the Bible with Old and New Testament stories that all connect to God’s Big Story.
Rooted in Biblical truth, the Faith Kids Sunday mornings are enriched with four core values:
- God Knows Me
- Jesus Loves Me
- The Holy Spirit Leads Me
- I Am a Child of God
Faith Kids Sundays offer kids space to fully discover their place in God’s Big Story, leaving no doubt about who God is and who they are in Him—helping them understand how their lives can tell of His wonder.
We read stories, dive into God’s Word, play games, pray, and do a variety of things to help the Gospel come alive to kids (science experiments, crafts, skits, and all kinds of creative things). All of our age groups are using Wonder Ink.
