Send good news, great joy! On November 17th at 9am, Faith Covenant is hosting an all church Packing Party for Operation Christmas Child! Make fun and meaningful memories by packing shoebox gifts for children in need! What a great way to start a Christmas tradition that emphasizes giving:
“I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.” Luke 2:10, ESV
How can you participate?
1) Show up to pack on November 17th at 9am. This is a great opportunity for all ages to serve together.
2) Donate items or funds for the packing party. Shoeboxes need to be filled, and it costs $10 to ship these good new boxes to children around the world.
You can contribute items in multiple ways:
- Order items from our event Amazon Wishlist: https://a.co/4sk4kvl and they will be delivered to the church for the event.
- purchase items and drop in the bins at the Info or Faith Kids desks between now and Nov. 13th.
- Pack your own shoeboxes and drop them off on or before Nov. 17th
- donate money to help cover the cost of shipping the packed boxes. Any amount helps–each box costs $10 to send. Financial gifts may be given through Faith Connect by selecting “OCC” from the drop down menu.
