Faith Family,
Goodbye June! Hello July!
Summer is flying by! We know that many of you may be traveling this holiday weekend, but if you’re in town or able to join us online, we invite you to join us as we continue our journey through John 15.
In the last several weeks, we’ve focused heavily on what it means to remain in the vine. It’s not always easy, but we’ve been exploring what it means to remain in Jesus, the true vine.
What happens when we are disconnected from the vine? What happens when a vine branch withers?
John 15:6 – “If anyone does not remain in me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he withers. They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”
Ummm…. Is that as harsh as it sounds? Fire?
(Discussion of fire is as close to fireworks as we’ll get this 4th of July weekend…)
John 15:6 is not an easy verse, so join us as we strive to understand more about what this means.
We hope to see you soon. Have a safe and happy 4th of July!
In Christ,
Kavan Rogness
