Pressing Pause

Faith,

Due to the increasing spike of Covid-19 infections in our state, your church council and staff has made the important decision to “press pause” on in-building gatherings until further notice. This new protocol goes into effect immediately.

While we absolutely hate to make this decision, the reality is over half the people who come to our Sunday, in-person gatherings are in the vulnerable age category for Covid-19. By pausing our in-person gatherings, we become part of the wise solution in our state to flatten the curve.

What does this mean for a month full of Christmas services? We’re not sure yet. Hang tight, while we seek wisdom on these matters.

Have no fear! We will still be live-streaming our services through YouTube & Facebook each Sunday at 10:30 AM. We will still shepherd our congregation in worship. We will still pray into these pressing times and be led by God’s word and Spirit.

We will continue this month through our new series Shhh… Our theme this week: Peace in the Wilderness.

In these trying times it’s easy to feel helpless. Have no fear, Faith!

My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper;
the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
nor the moon by night.The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore.

Psalm 121:2-8
