Did Jesus ever claim to be God’s Son?

A lot of people have built the infrastructure of their unbelief on their NO to these questions. But Christians clearly answer these questions with a YES. How do we get there? How would you respond if someone challenged you on these points?

Also, there is a controversial point in this passage I won’t be able to address in the sermon, so I’ll address it here through the videos below. In our passage this week (John 10:22-42), Jesus references Psalm 86:2 and says…

“Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’? If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside—what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?
