Faith,
We have such an exciting service planned for this weekend! It’s been wonderful seeing all the Vacation Bible School kids and volunteers filling our building with energy this week. Vicki and the Illumination Station kids will be leading us in song during worship, and we will also be celebrating the two sacraments the Lord gave His Church—Holy Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Our message this week will introduce the Sixth Commandment: “You shall not murder.”Because our children will be with us during the sermon, my focus will be on the positive calling of this commandment: God calls His people to reject harm because He is the God of life, and He calls us to actively choose life.
The God we worship is the One who gives us abundant life, both now and forever in Christ. I pray you’ll join us for worship this Sunday as we celebrate Him together!
