Faith,
I have two important things to tell you!
1) Good news! We concluded our fiscal year in June. Many of you stepped up to ensure a successful close. We had our best December, January, and June giving in over a decade! That said, we did not meet our congregationally approved budget for 2024-25. We controlled spending and stayed within our means, but we’d love to tell a different story next summer. How can you help? 2) This Sunday, we are going to have a very fine meal of a service! We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. We will celebrate the sacrament of baptism, and we will journey through one of the great stories of Genesis! Famine’s coming to God’s chosen family, but God’s always playing the long game. He has placed His chosen one in the center of the heartbreak to provide deliverance where no one expected it. You will find yourself in this story, and you’ll discover where to find justice, truth, and grace even amidst the suffering.
I pray you will join us this Sunday, and I pray you will bring a friend as we continue to find Christ in the Beginning.
In Christ alone,
Pastor Brad
