Faith,
One of my deepest convictions is that we don’t know what to do if we don’t know who we are and where we are in God’s story. Simply put, God’s story is the story we find ourselves in. Separated from that story, we don’t know who we are instead.
Where does God’s story begin? In the beginning!
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
“In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1
Fundamental to God’s story is Jesus is “In the beginning!” So, we are going on a great adventure for many weeks, finding Christ in the Beginning! This Sunday journey will guide us through the main stories of the book of Genesis and help us discover the significance of Christ in this incredible story called life.
I pray you will prioritize this journey! In it, we will fall more in love with the Father, Son, Spirit, His creation, and our place therein!
