Faith,
In the 12th chapter of the Gospel of John we come across an extravagant act of worship. One might even say this worship was dangerous. Is it possible worship can be dangerous? It’s fascinating that throughout the Scriptures God clearly commands his people to worship Him alone. Does God have a self-esteem problem? Of course not. Perhaps God simply knows that if we worship the wrong thing we quickly end up in dangerous territory.
Is your worship dangerous or cautious? What impact does your worship have on the people around you? What would you be willing to offer to God in worship, and why would doing so be a good thing?
For Christians, God knows the trajectory of our heart will take us to what we worship. Where is the trajectory of your heart taking you?
