Faith,
Do you have dignity?
Does your neighbor have dignity?
Does your enemy?
How about a homeless person?
How about a drug addict?
How about a drug dealer?
How about a death row inmate?
How about a newborn baby?
How about a not-yet-born baby?
How about your family?
As we come to Sanctity of Human Life Sunday in our Family Life Month at Faith, I’d like to address the topic of our lives and their sanctity by addressing the question: Why do people have inherent human dignity?
How we answer that question colors how our kids treat their friends and the bullies on the playground. It colors how we talk about the people we disagree with in culture. It determines the way we answer questions about our bodies, abortion, the death penalty, euthanasia, and pornography.
The good news is God has given the family of God a gift to navigate these tough questions. God’s word will be a “lamp” for our feet and a “light” for our path as we tackle a hot topic in these cold winter days. 🙂
In Christ alone,
Pastor Brad
