Happy New Year, and happy Family Life Month! I pray this new calendar year has you turning your heart and mind to the priorities of God and His love. As we move into Family Life Month, here’s a simple prayer for all of us:
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12
Each day in 2024 will be another gift from God. Left to our own devices, they will slip through our fingers,
It’s for this reason each January, Faith takes a special J-term pause to focus our lives back on the most important group of people in our lives: our families. During Family Life Month, each Sunday sermon will be focused on family life topics, and on Wednesday nights (starting Jan. 10th), our teens and Awana kids’ families will turn their attention toward the same priorities. In fact, parents and grandparents, if you haven’t yet given Awana Together a try, January is a perfect time to engage you and your kids/grandkids in this special family-equipping ministry (Wednesdays: 6:15-7:45 PM).
Our other Wednesday night ministries will continue steady as she goes as well at the same time:

Discovery Bible Experience

Women’s Book Club–God of Covenant

Man-to-Man (a study on the book of Philippians)

Youth Group
And, of course, there are numerous other ministries throughout our week that will help you number your days well in 2024 toward God’s priorities for you and your family’s life. You can find each of those ministries on the Event Hub at faithcovenant.org.
God has set eternity in our hearts, Faith!
