Faith,

As we shift our hearts toward Christmas, we will put a placeholder in our journey through Exodus and turn our eyes to the manger. Whom will you find in that Nativity scene? The Savior? The King? Absolutely! But you’ll also find the Son! I think it’s easy to forget that God didn’t send the baby Jesus to start a religion. Christ came to start an eternal family. That’s why I’m calling our Advent series God’s Family Christmas. Each week, we’ll explore the significance of God’s eternal family and our part in it. Remember, the Son is a son, and the Son has a Father and Mother, and we have been born again into His family! No wonder the angels burst into song!

Also, if you haven’t heard, all who call Faith Covenant Church home are invited to our Faith Makes History Capital Campaign Dinner on Saturday, December 6th from 5-7 PM. This is a night for our whole church family to come together, share a meal, and prayerfully commit to investing in the vision for the next chapter of Faith Covenant Church renovations. Dinner’s free and so is childcare! Click here to register by November 30!

In Christ alone,

Pastor Brad
