Faith,
What’s your favorite moment in history? The moon landing? The fall of the Berlin Wall? That first kiss? This fall at Faith, we are going to make some memorable history. In fact, I’ve titled our fall series, Faith Makes History.
Making history, of course, is easy. Every present has a past, and every past tells a story. How will your faith make history this year? Ten years from now, what story will your loved ones tell of your life in the faith? Will your children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews talk about the way you devoted yourself to Christ’s Church? Will they tell of you investing in the life of another to help them know and love God’s Word? Will they share the way you served Christ by serving the “least of these”?
I promise you that if we faithfully gather, grow, and go this fall, we will create a history that the next generation will be proud to stand upon.
We are going to launch our kick-off service this Sunday with a prayer and worship service! After the service, we’ll gather for an on-site, after-church picnic. Note: A free-will offering will be taken, but if you aren’t able to pay, come anyway!
There’s so much going on at Faith! Let’s make history together!
