Faith,

Please allow me to take a moment to turn your attention to two very important issues for this Sunday:

1) Every unrest in the world needs our prayers. I know the atrocities in Israel are at the forefront of all of our minds. Times like this remind me of Ephesians 6:12, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Spiritual battles must always be fought with spiritual weapons, so I would like to invite you to join us for prayer this coming Sunday at 9 AM in the Legacy Chapel as we pray against the wickedness perpetuated in our world and pray for the men, women, and children in harm’s way. A brief response on the conflict and ways to help is here on our denomination’s website.

2) This Sunday, as we continue our new Generous message series, we will focus on The Generosity of Talent. And interestingly, the parable we’ll be looking at is one of Jesus’ response on what we should do as we await His return! In a world of “not enough,” we in Christ have more than enough to participate with God in His plan of redemption. I like to think of the Church as one big Gifted and Talented program sent to glorify God by generously sharing His gifts and talents with our world. Because you are in Christ, you’re part of His gifted and talented church! Join us Sunday as we strategically move His talents into action as we await His coming.

His steward,

Pastor Brad
