Happy New Year, Faith!
As we’ve done every year for the past three years, we’re making January our Family Life Month. This year’s theme I’m calling The Wholly Holy Family.
“Ugh! Holiness?!”
Wait now! Think about it! Who was the holiest person in the Bible? Jesus! And the people were clamoring to be with Him. There must be something about holiness that’s beautiful and transforming! If the God of love calls us to be holy as He is holy, holiness must somehow be tied to love.
So how do we walk into this new year as a wholly holy family? We’ll start this Sunday here:
“Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 5:1
A family of disciples walking in the way of love in 2022 will be a gift to our world!
