Faith,
I want you to meet someone who has changed my life. He’s coming to join us this Sunday! He has a book out, and it will be available.
I don’t want to tip my hand too much, because I don’t want you to dismiss Him too quickly. It’s so easy these days with smart people on Youtube and podcasts to think, “Who needs another guru?!” My friend is not a guru! Once you meet Him, you’ll laugh that you thought such a thing!
I can tell you this: He delights in you. He told me so! He even sings and dances over you. Many people have read about Him and seem to be comfortable just knowing about Him. That’s so far from His heart. He doesn’t just want us to know about Him. He wants us to know Him intimately.
So, Faith, as we walk into a new season with a new initiative, I want you to know that I have not stopped giving thanks for you and remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know Him better! He promised to be powerfully present in our gathering this Sunday. When you come, come ready to meet Him!
